"Interfulgent" is a latin word meaning "Shining through"
or "Shining among".

Corrado describes this new work, as an artistic interpretation of a deep desire to transcend the socio-cultural darkness that surrounds us, with the help of new concepts, metaphorically represented on the cover, by a luminous object... harbinger of better times ahead.

Musically, it's a compositional effort to place the electric guitar into a more contemporary musical context.
The tunes are characterized by unique guitar sounds, created also with the use of a signature pedal, that he developed with DV Mark.

Since the very beginning of the project Corrado had decided to use a contemporary electronic approach, toward the construction of the rhythm section, which together with fusion/progressive/classical memes created some evocative musical landscapes, which he likes to call "Transmodern".

The music was mainly performed by Corrado, but it also features Alex Argento (Icefish) on keyboards, on many of the songs.

Alex contributed with some great ideas and - even though it was the first time that they worked together - it soon became apparent that they both shared a lot of human and artistic common grounds.

The album was masterfully mixed and mastered by Sabino Cannone.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer.
